New Sponsors including Strike Pro

We have some great news - long-term Manning Point Fishing Classic benefactor, Wombattle, has snared two sponsorship deals for this year. First Anne Sharkey and Associates (clinical and consultanting psychologists) are on board this year. So if you need some sports psychology help to give you confidence against the greats of Manning Point (BigJig, Ganghook, Tsunami, etc), then they should be able to help you out.  Even a loss this year may see you visiting them for grief counseling.

Secondly through the resources available only to him, Wombattle, has secured Strike Pro (through OZ dealer Juro Fishing) as a major sponsor. They have sent up a heap of lures and other stuff for our show bags.  As a result of this we will have another prize - the Strike Pro Lure Fisherman of the Year¹.

This is how the Leurre Strike Pro Pêcheur de l'Année (Strike Pro Lure Fisherman of the Year, goose) comp will work:

1. Each fisherman can buy a lure option for $5
2. Each lure option has a number which will be the order the fisherman can select a hard bodied Strike Pro lure
3. Each fisherman has to describe on camera their lure and how they think they will go using it in the Classic
4. The fish must be caught in the river (not beach)
5. The winner will be the biggest (weight) fish caught on one of the lures (and independently verified)
6. The winner gets a cash prize of $50 plus all of the $5 entry fees
7. The winner also has to do a blog entry on their lure and it's catch

It's not compulsory but it will be worth entering.
