Local resident, all round good guy and former occupant of Manning Point Manor, James, picked up this great jewie while flicking for plastics. He was just near the pool when I got onto this cracker.

By the look of his bleeding feet, we reckon he jumped in to get it out of the water!

So, they are there people - you have have to

Dear Ronny

I find myself still in the wilds of Peru,  searching for the sportfishing  challenge for which I am renowned. My piscatorial exploits in the ancient Amazon or the wilds of the Pacific amidst the productive grounds of Humboldt current have to date been shall we say limited. Piranha

Ok, here is the flattie I caught. And in true fisherman style, I did miss a massive one about 20 minutes beforehand. Played for about 10 mins on the sandy flats wondering how I'd get it onto shore before she spat the hook. It must have been the one that Groper missed last year at the Classic. As part of his ongoing charity work, 2010 Manning Point Fishing Classic Champion, Mangrove Mike, has taken 2013 Rookie, Groper Griffo, under his wing for some mentoring in the twin arts.

Groper, using the excuse of "it's my wedding", has taken Mangrove and his family to the beautiful waters of Fiji for some serious study.

Mr Mahi Mahi would like to issue this public statement relating to allegations that ASADA are investigating a linkage between Haka Joe and Mr Stephen Dank. "Having fished with Haka for a number of years I can honestly say that I have never witnessed the use or ingestion of any performance enhancing drug. Surely the results speak for

Never knew ASADA had jurisdiction over MPFC - most competitors will now be worried.
