Flathead Fill’s preparations to mount his inaugural challenge to unseat the front runners in this year’s pelagic fishing classic took a turn for the worst last weekend. Whilst honing his skills on the marauding white pointers off the reef at Fingal Bay, Fills secret weapon was left high and dry as the engine room and nets were shattered

We have some great news - long-term Manning Point Fishing Classic benefactor, Wombattle, has snared two sponsorship deals for this year. First Anne Sharkey and Associates (clinical and consultanting psychologists) are on board this year. So if you need some sports psychology help to give you confidence

The Ganghook family recently had a great day catching.

Ganghook and Ganghook Junior pulled up plenty and even Mrs Ganghook bagged a few nice ones.
