Another year, another cheer!

The MPFC - finally here!

 

It all starts at the Bowling Club

Where we all shout 'Hip hooray!'

As the next MPFC entrant

Ambles up for his meat tray

 

Then it's back to the Manor

Where a game of Jenga beckons

Talks of jewfish and monster lizards

Caught on what each angler reckons

 

There's the Dougie and the Pink Rod

Or even Groupe de Peche

But all eyes are on one prize

The Master Angler, place your bets!

 

Could a rookie win it this year?

Some say it's ne'er been done

Regardless of the outcome

It's beer and fishing - oh what fun!
