Mangrove Bags a Biggie on Last Day of Manning Point Fishing Classic Festival

In the very last hour of the two-week Manning Point Fishing Classic Festival, long-term attendee and 2025 Initial Weekend sleeper, Mangrove Mike, has bagged a huge flattie.
Despite claiming him claiming it only be 99cms in the video below (to avoid the Metre Flathead Tariff), the Bunker in Geneva confirmed it to 100.5cms, giving Mangrove his first Metre fish.
Speaking after the momentous catch, Mangrove said "I was just trying for a little bream or whiting on this 25cm lure and lo and behold, a cracking lizard came along and gobbled it up." "That one was only 79cm, so I put it back on the hook and used that to get the big fella."
The beautiful creature was then released safely to be caught by another lucky angler.
