The latest effort involves his name on the back of legendary Newcastle Knights NRL star Willie Mason. Willie is proud as punch in having the legendary fishing champions name on his back allegedly saying "Mangrove's commitment

With a bag of flathead and a few other species, Mr Mahi Mahi has won the 2013 Manning Point Fishing Classic.

Haka Jo took out the Social Award, BigJig won the Order of the Pink Rod (easily) and Groper Griffo took out the Rookie of the Year. Mr Mahi Mahi's team with Ganghook Gibbo and Haka Jo took out the Team Award.
